Third Day. What do we mean when we say Third Day and Third Day Church?
There is a great need for believers to STOP going to church and realize they are THE CHURCH! This opens up whole new ideas for the way we might be doing church.
This Third Millennium ("a day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day, 2 Peter 3:8; Psalms 90:4, tell us more about this "Third Day" of doing and BEING the Church that Jesus died to bring forth. Those believers coming into the Resurrection LIFE of the Third Day.
The winds of change are upon us - and change demands that we re-examine our traditional forms and routines... because a NEW response is necessary to meet the demands of this new day.
If we look closely at today's culture and today's church, we see changes everywhere. It is the fullness of time, and have come to a time (kairos, opportune moment) of critical mass and synergistic inertia necessary to break us out of the box of religion, and into becoming the force in society -- to take the dominion that God gave every human in the beginning. As we become grown up SONS ready to walk in our inheritance.
You will find many free articles on this website explaining more about this idea.

How many of you just know that there has to be MORE?
Most of us have tried to dismiss our restlessness … but I believe that it is a devine disconent that has driven us to search for more.
We only have to look around us to see change everywhere. Everything is chaging at excellerated speeds right now. Technology, medicine, concepts that run our civilization. It should be no surprise that the church is changing as well. We have rapidly advanced into what many call the Third Day!
I’ve often spoken about the 3rd DAY that’s coming We saw the change when studying the FEASTS and the Tabernacle in the Wilderness! We sang about a new day coming…
We thought that transition would be afar off …
But, “SUDDENLY,” the fullness of time has transpired, and We ACTUALLY stepped into the beginning of a NEW DAY – or what we call the 3rd DAY!
The term THIRD DAY CHURCH is really a catch all phrase commonly used to describe what is happening today in the church world. It is also called by some, the “Apostolic movement,” “Dominion Theology,” “Present Truth,” and the “Finished Work.
Most of us can see that things are really changing in the church. Today, the 21st Century church enters into winds of change that demand that we look hard at the present traditional system and face the reality that reformation is stirring. It is vital that we embrace the correct changes and protect the integrity of God’s intention for this hour.
Now, let’s answer the question, where does the term 3rd day come from?
Psalms 90:12 says, “So teach us God, to NUMBER our days, that we might have a heart of wisdom… (Ps. 90:12).”
How do we get a heart of wisdom? Yes. By numbering our days. That’s why we look again today in this brief video to review some of the possible concepts of the THIRD DAY.
2 Peter 3:8 tells us that a day to the lord , is as a thousand years. We have just entered into the third thousandth year since the cross. This Scripture may be a figurative use of the word "thousand" to express the idea that God is beyond time. Or, it may be a measurement for us to perceive more deeply.
There are some amazing parallels with the FEASTS and this idea of the Third Day church.
The Tabernacle can be generally divided into three parts:
The Outer Court
The Holy Place
The Holy of Holies
Feasts can be generally divided into three parts:
Day 1: Passover
Day 2: Pernetcost
Day 3: Tabernacles
These three divisions can represent the progress of the church…
Day ONE – Speaks of the Outer Court.
It represents the Feast of Passover.
A Day ONE church is all about “Me and my sin” – We leave the old dways behind and find Salvation - the altar of sacrifice for sin.
Day TWO – speaks of the Holy Place.
It represesnts the Feast of Pentecost.
A Day TWO church is about “Me and my gifts.” It speaks of the Table of Showbread, the Candlesticks and the infilling of the Spirit.
Day THREE – speaks of The Holy of Holies.
. It represents the Feast of Tabernacles.
A Day THREE church is not about “Me and my sin,” and not about “Me and my gifts.” In fact, it’s not about me at all! It’s all about God. There is nothing but His presence in this place.
We now live in the Thrid thousandth year from the cross and the seven thousandth year from the fall
Day three is the day of resurrection – where we celebrate the the victory and receiving of the promises of God NOW in this lifetime – and learning to inherit God’s promises today instead of waiting for the sweet by and by.
Generally, Third Day Churches emphasize the finished work, ongoing Truth, present day reality, with apostles, prophets leading as the foundation. Please see the following article about the Scriptures concerining the Third Day.
