 Dominion Theology is a term describing a common Christian teaching. It is a term used to describe the concept first mentioned in Genesis 1:28, where God grants humanity "dominion" over the Earth.
And God blessed the first coupled God said unto THEM, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have DOMINION over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth." Dominion Theology looks at this passage (and many others) as describing how the original intention of God (when He first created humans) was to give them the responsibility and stewardship over the earth. This concept also brings with it a mandate for Christians to take dominion over the devil and to actively supervise in government, social, civic, and civil affairs.
