Equality?
Where do we begin? People "say" they aren't prejudice in this area... but when you look at the statistics of their government, you find that women are rarely included in major church leadership and government. Few churches accept women apostles...
Gender Equality is still a huge problem in many churches.
The problem is that really nice people really believe that there are Scriptures to support their point of view - to not allow women in certain governmental positions in the church.
Through much study and earnest seaching, through traveling the world to gain information, I am able to present well researched information to you about this topic.
Beloved, the Scriptures clearly do support all of humanity to fully fulfill their destiny.
"Glass ceiling" is a term that describes the artificial plateau (barricade) beyond which women and other minorities have been denied the opportunity to advance.

Right now, many conservative Christian churches still don't allow women to preach in their pulpit or participate in governmental leadership. Most Conservative Christians believe that God has ordained the roles of men and women to be different in the Church.
For centuries, philosophers and theologians tried to bind women’s minds like the Chinese culture bound women’s feet. But, no more. We just won’t allow it. Finally, the day has arrived that Hosea spoke about, “After two days, He revives us; and on the third day (our personal Resurrection Day) He will raise us up, that we may live in His sight” (6). That third day has come and His resurrection power transforms us by name, “Lazarus, (say your name) come forth!” Accurate understanding removes the disfiguring and binding grave clothes. This almost unbelievable Good News of total redemption brings metamorphosis… We’re neither a wretch, nor a worm.
Traditionally, the theological interpretation of headship meant that man has authority over the woman. This thought stems from 1 Corinthians 11:3, which says in part, “...the head of every woman is the man.” These days, we usually hear this Scripture used to maintain that man is the head, the leader, authority, boss. The Good News Bible assumes this idea in translation, “The husband is supreme over the wife.” (I Cor.11:3 GNB).
