Koinonea is the heartbeat of my life! It is the single most important Biblical truth to me personally. This area will expend as this site develops. Articles about Koinonea: How many of us go home and resist venturing out into the place of trusting someone again? How many people have you shut the door on and just quit seeing, saying,“That’s it! I won’t be hurt again.” In trying to apprehend the truths of unity, there are several things that we should consider. Perhaps the most amazing may well be that God decided to use us (human beings) to manifest His unity.
The Principle of Unity & Koinonea 1). Unity (meaning Koinonea (koininea, koinonia) is a non-negotiable immutable present truths – it will not change. 2). The principle of unity is sacrosanct – it is inviolable (it cannot be violated). 3). The requirement for unity is inclusive – it applies equally to every believer. Dr. Jean, the Gynecologist, was a friend and a member of my church. She reported the results of the ultra sound without a glimpse of expectancy. “She probably won’t live,” her halting words struck me with bone deep fear. As a Pastor, I struggled without answers for my unmarried daughter and her soon to be born child.
