Melchizedek Melchizedek Articles by Dr. Kluane:

Jesus obtained the Melchizedek Priesthood - and He gave that priesthood to us! In this section, you will find articles about Melchizedek. Also look at the DVD in the Online Store. This DVD has wonderful revelation about Melchizedk that can't be found anywhere else.

Melchizedek (or Melchisedec) means king of righteousness. He was the Biblical king of Salem and "priest of the most high God." After the defeat of Chedorlaomer, Melchizedek blessed Abraham. Then, Abraham gave him tithes from the spoils of that battle. Hebrews tells us that Jesus obtained the Melchizedek priesthood - that of an eternal priesthood.

The Dead Sea Scrolls say that Melchizedek effects the ruination of Belial, a wicked and evil angel, and the wicked spirits who were in league with Belial.

ARTICLES by Dr. Kluane Spake

Apprehending Righteousness

RIGHTEOUSNESS means having a purity of heart or being and doing right. God's righteousness is essential in His nature -- as He is the righteous governor of all creations, He is the administrator and just dispenser of rewards and punishments. He alone is pure of heart. He alone does right. The Old Testament term "righteousness" (sedeq) designates His holiness, justice, and faithfulness (Gen 18:25; Deut 6:25; Ps 31:1; 119:137,142; Is 45:23; 46:13; 51:5-8).

The End of the Levitical Priesthood

We're not talking about the popular teaching where clerical people are called "priests" and working believers are "kings." NO. The correct interpretation is for you and me to realize that we are created to be BOTH kings and priests at the same time (Ex. 19:5-6).

The Melchizedek Priesthood of Prosperity

Many modern churches may be surprised by this, but in fact, we don't exist under the old Levitical order of things any more! Jesus intended us to have a Melchizedek Priesthood – one charged with the power of eternal life.

Melchizedek Is Ours

Melchizedek (or Melchisedec) means king of righteousness. He was the Biblical king of Salem and "priest of the most high God." After the defeat of Chedorlaomer, Melchizedek blessed Abraham.

Who was Melchizedek?

The identity of Melchizedek (Melchizedek) has been the subject of much debate. Hebrews tells us about the nature of his priesthood. His identity does not seem to be veiled to those in the early church to the same degree that it is to us. Perhaps because they had the tradition of their forefathers' teaching which was passed down from generation to generation.

Why Melchizedek is Greater Than Melchizedek

The book of Hebrews says that Melchizedek was Greater than Abraham (Hebrews 7:7)And without doubt the lesser person is blessed by the greater. Why was Melchizedek Greater than Abraham? First, we need to look at the first mention of Melchizedek in Genesis 14.
